Rare – not old!

Next week, I will be talking about PaxCat at the CILIP Rare Books and Special Collections Group conference.  The Group is the professional body for librarians who look after historic material, including that which is “Rare but not old” (the conference title).   Modern collections like those catalogued by PaxCat present distinct legal, ethical and practical problems.  I’ll be sharing what we learned and finding out about other projects.  The slides of my talk will be available in due course (link to follow).
